Engine 309 is a 1954 Mack B-Model open cab pumper which served the company from 1954 to 1963, when it was sold to a fire company in North Carolina. In 1990, LVFC was able to repurchase the pumper and performed a complete restoration to bring the apparatus back to its original 1954 condition.
