Apartment Kitchen Fire in Rodgers Forge: Fire Box 1-14
September 01, 2009 - At approximately 12:55am, Engine 307 and Squad 303 responded to a report of an apartment fire in the Rodgers Forge neighborhood of Towson. As the first arriving engine, E11’s officer established command and advised smoke showing from the apartment building due to a possible kitchen fire. Shortly thereafter, E307’s crew arrived as the third engine and immediately assisted units on scene by conducting a primary search of the fire building and evacuating the adjacent structures. Crews from E11 and E101 handled extinguishment while S303’s crew assisted units on scene with ventilation, utilities, search of any hidden fires or hotspots in the walls and / or ceiling, and scene lighting. Units on scene: BC1, E11, E101, E307, E14, T1, T17, S303, and M1.
