Members Recognize LVFC's 100th Year Anniversary
October 28, 2009 - In recognition of LVFC's 100th year anniversary, members gathered to acknowledge the successful achievement of a century of service to the community of Lutherville and greater Baltimore County. At approximately 20:00 hours, LVFC Life Member Tim Mullin Jr. recognized the company's 100th anniversary via Baltimore County Fire Dispatch Main 1: "On this date and at this time 100 years ago, a group of citizens from the village of Lutherville met 'for the purpose of organizing a permanent and reliable Volunteer Fire Company'. Since that time, the members of the Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company have continuously been protecting the citizens of Lutherville and Baltimore County. Please alert this station in recognition of the 100 years of service and sacrifice by members of the Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company and their families, and in celebration of the 100th anniversary of the Company." Dispatch responded by alerting the station and announcing the following: "Baltimore County Fire Dispatch alerting Station 30 in recognition of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company, and in recognition of 100 years of service and sacrifice by its members and their families. Congratulations on a century of service."
