Pole Fire Temporarily Closes York Road: Local Box 30-04
April 16, 2010 - At approximately 10:15pm, LVFC was dispatched to respond to the report of a utility pole on fire in the 1700-block of York Road. Located only several blocks from Station 30, Engine 302 arrived on scene moments later and confirmed a working pole fire. With assistance from Baltimore County Police, crews immediately established a safety zone and shut down York Road until BGE secured the power and the area was deemed safe. Lutherville Volunteers remained on scene for approximately 90 minutes.
