SUV Lands on Side Trapping Driver in Rodgers Forge: Rescue Box 01-13
April 27, 2010 - At approximately 11:30pm, Squad 303 was alerted for the report of a 10-50PI with rescue at the intersection of Bellona Avenue and Rodgers Forge Road in southwest Towson. While en route, Station 1 units arrived at location and confirmed one patient trapped in a SUV that was resting on its drivers side. As the patient sustained only minor injuries, the squad crew of seven stood by as Station 1 units stabilized the vehicle, removed the windshield and extricated the patient. Once removed from the vehicle, the patient was then packaged on a backboard and transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Units at location included: BC1, E1, T1, M1, EMS1, and S303.
