2-Alarm Townhome Fire in Parkville: Fire Box 10-18

July 06, 2010 - At approximately 1:10am, Squad 303 was alerted to respond to the report of a dwelling fire on Ebony Road off of Waltham Woods Road in Parkville. While en route, Station 10 (Parkville) units arrived, established command and advised heavy fire from the rear of the structure. To prevent fire from spreading into the adjoining town homes, command requested a 2nd alarm assignment for additional personnel. Squad 303's crew assisted Truck 8 with ventilating the roof, performed overhaul, and provided exterior and interior lighting. Engine 307 responded on the 2nd alarm assignment, stood by and was then transferred to Station 11 (Hillendale) for several hours to fill in. (Photos by Adam Zoltowski)
