Fully Involved Dwelling off of Pot Springs Road: Fire Box 17-15

July 09, 2010 - At approximately 4:50pm, Station 30 was alerted for the report of a dwelling fire on Anglo Hill Road off of Pot Springs Road. Engine 302 responded, and while en route, Station 17 (Texas) units advised heavy smoke in the distance and requested a working fire assignment. Upon arrival, Station 17 units established command, advised the rear of the house was fully involved, and began exterior defense operations to fight the fire. Engine 302's crew arrived and immediately established a water source, protected nearby exposures and began knocking the fire at the rear of the dwelling with assistance from other units. Units remained on scene for approximately three hours. (Photos by Adam Zoltowski)
