Two Trapped on Charles Street in Towson: Rescue Box 01-11
July 15, 2011 - At approximately 11:20pm, Squad 303 was alerted to respond to the report of a motor vehicle accident with rescue at the intersection of Gatehouse Drive (Shepard Pratt Entrance) and Charles Street in Towson. Initially dispatched as a motor vehicle accident with an unknown status, Station 1 (Towson) units arrived, advised two patients trapped in a vehicle that was T-boned / broadsided, and requested a rescue box assignment as well as additional medical resources. Squad 303's crew, along with Truck 1, extricated the patients by removing the passenger side door. The patients were then transported to a local hospital for evaluation. Crews remained on scene for approximately 30 minutes.
