LVFC Member Recognized for 9/11 Service
September 06, 2011 - In a recent article published in the Towson Times, Lutherville Volunteer member and immediate past president John Gochnauer was recognized for service he provided at Ground Zero following the 9/11 terror attacks on New York's World Trade Center. As a member of the management support group for Maryland's National Disaster Medical System team, Gochnauer spent three months at Ground Zero as night supervisor of the medical facilities set up to treat rescue workers, construction workers and utility personnel.
