Fully Involved Detached Garage Fire in Brooklandville: Fire Box 14-17
October 15, 2011 - At approximately 9:15am, Station 30 was alerted to respond to the report of a garage fire on Falls Road between Walnut Avenue and Gardman Avenue in Brooklandville. Engine 307 immediately responded and while en route Engine 14 advised responding units that a column of smoke was visible in the distance. Shortly thereafter, Engine 14 arrived to find a detached garage fully involved and established command. Engine 307's crew remained on scene for approximately 1 hour and assisted units on scene with extinguishment and overhaul. After clearing the incident, Engine 307's crew filled in Station 14 (Brooklandville) for approximately 1 hour.
