LVFC Responds to 30+ Calls as Severe Storms Pass Through Region
June 01, 2012 - As severe storms passed through the Mid-Atlantic region, Lutherville Volunteers responded to over 30+ storm related calls throughout the evening and night. Due to the high volume of calls, approximately 25+ members fully staffed all apparatus throughout the night as LVFC units were continuously on the road for several hours providing emergency services to the community. As the vicious storm brought large amounts of rain and wind to the region, Station 30 responded to various calls including downed power lines, electrical fires, fallen trees into houses, flooded basements, and other storm related calls.
