Recruitment
The Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company has two different types of membership: Associate and Active. We are always looking to add qualified people to our dedicated team of men and women volunteers.- Associate Member
These members help with the administrative aspects of LVFC. They are not active firefighters and/or EMTs. Instead, these people dedicate their time to helping the company operate efficiently and effectively. Quite often, these people are retired lawyers, accountants, or other professionals that have the desire to keep their skills sharp while volunteering their time. Several of our Executive Board members are associate members. If you are interested in becoming an associate member, please fill out an application or call the firehouse. 410-252-3134
- Active Member
Active members are firefighters/EMTs that respond to emergency calls. These members go through intense training to become active firefighters. The training requirements for devoted active members are immense. LVFC currently has over 80 active members and is always looking to add to its team. If you would like to become an active firefighter, please fill out an application and drop it off or call the firehouse. 410-252-3134
