LVFC attended the Baltimore County Fire Department’s annual commendations ceremony. LVFC was awarded unit citations for a trench rescue in our first due area and for a house explosion in Baltimore City last year. LVFC’s Captain Hyde was awarded the Broze Star, the County’s 3rd highest award for his actions in rescuing a trapped pt from their vehicle after it was struck by a tractor trailer and caught fire while returning home from his job as a career firefighter in a neighboring jurisdiction.
