Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company will host a recruitment open house on Sunday, April 14th, 2019 from noon until 4:00 PM. This event, supported by the Maryland State Firemen’s Association, is part of a larger effort to increase membership in Maryland’s volunteer fire and emergency medical services. Serving as a volunteer firefighter is a uniquely challenging and incredibly rewarding way of giving back to one’s community. Those who are curious about what is entailed in being a volunteer firefighter and who wish to learn more about this special form of community service are encouraged to attend. Guests will have an opportunity to speak directly with our members about the requirements of membership, tour our station, and view our equipment in a relaxed and casual atmosphere. Spouses and significant others are welcome and lunch will be provided!
