Reunion with Teachers after their Training Saves a Life
Earlier this year, LVFC responded to a cardiac arrest that resulted in a successful resuscitation. Last night, all crews involved were able to reunite. Thanks to training offered by Heart to Beat LLC, the immediate administration of CPR, and medical care provided by emergency responders, a life was saved. Job well done!
Heart to Beat’s statement on their Facebook page reads:
Last night, members of the Heart To Beat Team had the incredible opportunity to help coordinate a rewarding reunification resulting from another life saved! Last year, our team had the chance to provide CPR/AED training for a large organization in Baltimore. Nearly a year later, one of our course participants used this training on a spouse, bridging the gap between the collapse into cardiac arrest and 911 arrival. This training paired with the expert care from Lutherville Volunteer Fire Company and Advanced Life Support from Baltimore County Fire Department Paramedic 17 and EMS 7 (area supervisor) resulted in a successful resuscitation. What an incredible opportunity last evening to reconnect all members who administered pre-hospital lifesaving care which led to such a successful outcome! Job. Well. Done.
